The Waterside features 36 carbon-neutral, two-bedroom, dormer bungalows as part of the multiple award-winning Middleton Hall Retirement Village near Darlington.
The layout offers a variety of picturesque character areas featuring garden and lakeside settings, providing completed ‘scenes’ for phased delivery over five years to a 2018 completion. The distinctive bungalows are designed with formal and informal frontages to encourage community-living. ‘Open-plan’ garden areas extend into the rural landscape setting with woodland walks and cycle path links to the superb nearby Middleton Hall facilities.
All properties were sold off-plan.
Middleton Hall Retirement Village was awarded the Best Continuous Care Retirement Community in the UK. The Waterside was a Bricks Award Winner and a Green Apple Award Winner in 2016.
