Project Description:

This residential scheme within a woodland setting offers a mix of 15 affordable homes on a Spennymoor brownfield site for Livin’. Careful design was needed to enable delivery in a location challenged by depressed rental values.

​

The family houses and over-55s bungalows are arranged as a courtyard to encourage people – especially older persons – to get to know and support each other.

​

The scheme was short-listed for the RICS North-East Best Residential Award 2019 and the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2019.
